[EN] Mr Jones' Orphanage

Stopped by the Mr Jones' Orphanage Milk bar at Siam centre for the first time.

The shop was very interested, with very long queue. It was decorated with fluffy teddy bears, vintage prints and toys, the customers will feel like stepping into a whimsical world of childhood fantasies.

According to the number of customers, I'd have to wait sometimes for my milkshake; so while I was waiting I recorded very short video from my iPhone :) There were a few things I needed to complains about the shop, because there were many customers and I was with only Naru; they set us on the table where they can sit for four.They asked us to moved moved 3 times. They asked us whether we lined up for the queue or not, asked us 6th times if we order yet! It was bad communicating within the shop and the waiters weren't nice, they talked behind us. I didn't think it was our fault to be upset because we were moving 3 times and we had many luggages. Anyway, the milkshakes were nice ( It would be better if they placed them at the correct table, and told us what the products were).

The restaurant's signature desserts are Custard Cow's Poo - the custard has a hole in the middle and is baked until chewy and slightly brown, Chocky Mud Pie - a chocolate lava cake served with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, a pink flower and a toy car, and Mr Jones' Giant Marshmallow - a lightly torched, enormous marshmallow sits on top of a biscuit in a shallow pond of chocolate sauce.

• The tangy Mummy - a strong, zesty splash of mango and passion fruit.

But the don't-miss is their homemade milk. The different flavours available are vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, spearmint and bubble gum.
